How can we help?
Guides for setting up your kit, managing your items, and getting the most from your dashboard.
Getting started
Your setup, step by step
Most hosts do this in an afternoon. You can do steps 1 to 3 before the kit arrives.
- Add your property details in the dashboard: check-in, checkout, Wi-Fi, house rules, and entry instructions.
- Add the items guests ask about most, with the brand and model if you can find them.
- Review the video we match to each item and turn on the ones that are right.
- When the kit arrives, activate your stickers by scanning each one and picking what it's for.
- Place each sticker on its item, put the review magnet on the fridge at the property, and label your remotes and switches.
Activating your stickers
Your stickers are blank until you activate them, and you can do it from anywhere.
- Open Map your stickers from your dashboard, or simply scan a sticker with your phone camera.
- Pick what it's for: one of your items, or your AI agent.
- Repeat for each sticker. The order doesn't matter.
If a sticker won't scan, you can type the code printed under it instead.
Choosing your AI agent sticker
On the Kit + AI Agent plan, make any one sticker your property's "ask us anything" code. Each property has one. Put it somewhere every guest will see it, like the kitchen or the entry, rather than on a single item.
Where everything goes
- Item stickers: on or right next to the item, somewhere a guest will look when they're stuck.
- Review magnet: on the fridge at the property.
- Host magnet: on your own fridge at home. Scan "Your stats" to check how things are going, or "Before your next guest" to update your stickers.
- Labels: label the remote, not the device. The guest's question is "which remote is this?"
Wipe each surface clean and dry first. Labels and stickers stick best on flat surfaces and can't be repositioned, so place each one once.
Items & videos
Adding an item
In your dashboard, choose + Add an item. Give it a name and a room, add the brand and model if you know them, and write a short note for guests. You can also add one affiliate link if you have one.
Finding the model number
It's usually on a sticker inside the door, on the back, or underneath the item. The model number helps us match the video for your exact model.
Reviewing and turning on videos
When we find a video for an item, it's labeled Exact model or General [brand] video. It stays hidden from guests until you watch it and switch on Show this video to guests.
You can turn a video off anytime, and guests will see your note instead. If we later find a better match, the new video starts switched off so you can review it first.
There's no video for my item
Choose Request a video on the item. We'll add it when we can, and it will appear for you to review. In the meantime, guests see your note, so the page still works.
Writing a good host note
Short and specific works best. Tell guests what they can't figure out on their own:
- "Pods are in the drawer to the left."
- "Press the wave button once for low jets, twice for high."
- "Please turn the sauna off when you leave."
Never put door codes, lockbox codes, or alarm codes in a note. Those belong in your private property details.
Adding an affiliate link
Optional. Paste one link per item from any affiliate program you've joined, and it shows on that item's page. Commissions go straight to your own account. How affiliate links work
Your AI agent
What your agent knows
It answers from what you've added: property details, house rules, check-in and checkout, Wi-Fi, your items and notes, and your restaurant picks. The more you add, the better it answers.
Updating what it knows
Choose Update my agent on your dashboard to edit property details, or edit any item. Changes apply to the agent's answers.
When it texts you
If a guest asks something it can't answer, it texts the mobile number on your account. Keep that number current.
Previewing your agent
Choose Preview my agent to see exactly what your guests see.
Your dashboard
Reading your stats
- QR scans: how many times guests scanned your stickers in the last 30 days.
- Most-scanned items: the things guests need help with most. Great candidates for a clearer note.
- Questions answered and Resolved by AI (AI plan): how many guest questions the agent handled, and how many it passed to you.
"Guests scanned a sticker you haven't assigned"
A guest scanned a sticker that isn't set up yet. They saw a friendly "still being set up" page. Open Map your stickers and assign it before your next guest.
Reordering stickers
Stickers are $12 for 10. Scan "Before your next guest" on your host magnet, or open your sticker page from the dashboard.
Billing, plan changes, and cancelling
Choose Manage billing to update your card, switch plans, or cancel.
Adding another property
Choose Add another property at the bottom of your dashboard. Each property gets its own kit and plan.
Troubleshooting
A sticker won't scan
- Wipe the sticker and the phone camera lens.
- Try better light, and hold the phone a little farther away.
- Still nothing? Type the code printed under the sticker in Map your stickers.
A guest saw "This one's still being set up"
That sticker hasn't been assigned yet. Open Map your stickers, scan or type its code, and pick what it's for.
Moving a sticker to a different item
Scan the sticker and pick the new item. It moves over right away.
Replacing a damaged sticker
Place a new sticker, activate it for the same item, and remove the old one. Reorder stickers anytime at $12 for 10.
I removed an item
Its sticker now shows the "still being set up" page until you assign it to something else.
